New Post: BTDF for Biztalk 2016

I've posted about this previously.
I'm struggling to get BTDF to work with BizTalk 2016. Currently working on a big project that has been decided to use Biztalk 2016, and BTDF would be a major help.

I got the Helloworld sample working, by using a custom wxs file, but once I started to try using the settings file, ran into problems with the SSO dlls as they're built with the wrong version of .net and biztalk.

I've tried rebuilding SSOSettingsFileReader.dll using .Net 4.6 and changing the SSOClient reference, but just getting more errors as msbuild won't load it now.

1) Are there any plans and timescales for when a BTDF for 2016 will be released?
2) Can someone give me some guidance on how to get it done myself? totally willing to share the resulting source code.
