New Post: BizTalk Application Name not set

Within the .btdfproj, either an explicit property BizTalkAppName (not there by default), otherwise from the ProjectName property (there by default). Did you start out by using the Add New Project wizard? I'd suggest going through the walkthrough if you haven't already.
